Performance

Jeep have kept it simple with the 2021 Compass, and with other brands you might think, “Hey I want more choice!”, but when it’s a Jeep, you know that they chose this power plant for a reason. They did, however, provide Compass buyers with a choice of drivetrain options, including a 6 speed manual transmission, a 6 speed automatic transmission, and a 9 speed automatic transmission. Jeep have also given the option of 2×4, or 4×4, depending on whether you prioritize fuel economy or pure off road ability.

The Compass is paired perfectly with the amazing 2.4 litre Tigershark Multi Air inline 4 engine. This power plant generates a healthy 180 horse power and an impressive 175 lb ft of torque. These stats give the 2021 Compass a tow capacity of up to 907 kg or 2000 lb, not bad for a crossover!
